That tour looks interesting Brian. Your chances of seeing a tornado would be higher (and safer) with a good chase tour like that one.

I am considering arranging my own chase and will look at the options early next year.

As for holidays in the sun......boring. The time to go to Fiji is January when the afternoon thunderstorms are firing. I worked up there in the summer 1994 and saw lots of good cb's/storms. :)

Where would you most likely look at for your tour? I have to be in the US sometime early next year also. If I can make the time it'd be pretty interesting chasing twisters and the like! Let us know some details when you have them. :-)

Chase 2005 will be from about mid May to early June. 2-3 weeks.
I think this is the best time to observe good thunderstorms and maybe see a tornado.

Chase will take in anywhere north Texas to Iowa. (Tornado Alley).

Sounds really great, but just a little too late in the year for me, alas! :-(

Wouldnt April be a better season still with cold fonts in the area than "later" the current USA map is covered in 80's all over it now and the cold front is way to the north now :?: :?:

I would like to go but as I said, I'd rather do it myself rather than be on a 'tour'
...anyway we have plans of shifting our house into the country so I wouldn't have the finance to go an chase tornados around 'Tornado alley" USA.
