Oh yes - I heard some Auckland jokes today from someone in Dunedin, been a long time without any!

Q. What does daylight saving mean in Auckland?
A. An extra hour of rain

Q. What do you call 2 days of rain in Auckland?
A. The weekend

Q. What do you call 4 days of rain in Auckland?
A. Easter

Q. What do you call 5 minutes of sunshine that follows 2 days of rain in Auckland?
A. Monday

I think for Chch in an easterly/northeasterly flow, the saying could be changed to "if you don't like the weather, wait 5 days".
