A reminder that this is tomorrow morning during moonset so could be a good photo opportunity ...

that was really neat to watch. i have never seen any sort of eclipse before until now.

It was a darker eclipse than the last one so it was difficult to photograph the partial phase.

The attached photo was taken just before it went into full shadow.

When I went outside to look, the Moon was behind a streak of thin cloud so I didn't see the coppery colour. Great photo. Thanks!

Ummm it would have been WSW i think Brian. About where the sun sets in high summer. You should have had a clear view from your place if there was no cloud.

I attempted taking a photo but because there was a thin high cloud all i was getting was a bright gleer. By the naked eye however it looked really really neat. \:D/

I was up at 6.40 but couldn't see much, the moon was low in the sky my view was blocked by trees/houses to the west. Was too busy preparing for an exam anyway ;)

Nice photo, saw nothing here because of some clouds. Did see the reddish sky today with the moon because of the ash. Kind of looked the same but more intense. Pretty sure that that eclipse looked even better through your own eyes than that picture.
