Ultra Fast Broadband Rollout

Just had some info about the rollout plan for Ultra Fast Broadband across Hamilton, Te Awamutu, Cambridge, Tauranga, Tokoroa, New Plymouth, Hawera and Wanganui.

Looks like Vector didnt get the contract to those areas above which they really wanted it seems going by those ad campaigns last year.

Interestingly Fibre is already getting rolled over bits of the CBD according to this doc: http://www.ultrafastbroadband.co.nz/fil ... 202011.pdf

I was expecting the rollout to be quite slow but it seems not

Matangi seems to be upgrade zone, nice!, although Tamahere isnt, no doubt they will get their nicker's in a twist like they always do, LOL

Vector didn't get the Auckland contract either, LOL

Instead it was given to Crown Fibre Holdings (a Division of Chorus).
