Yea that wouldnt have been good. It is possible that a camera creates a spark isnt it? They think thats how that woman died in the auckland underground pipe explosion not too long ago.

Weird thing about Fonterra and picking up of milk. My parents havent had to dump milk once yet. BUT ALL our neighbours have had to dump atleast once and some 3 times and today might be a 4th.

Feel sorry for the people without **** ponds. They have no storage and pump **** onto the paddocks daily. They are going to have a hard time pumping 1000's of litres of milk onto their grass at a small rate as they have no way of diluting the milk down without storage ponds. Many farms have this setup. If it goes on much longer the rivers are going to STINK and we could have an environmental disaster

just seen a milk tanker go past here for the first time in 2 days...
ps, if that leaking gas were to have ignited, would it be just a burn off type event...or would the flame travel down into the pipe and cause a massive explosion?

AFAIK only if there was oxygen in sufficient volume?

I wondered about that...that it would need oxygen...as normal a gas burner mixes in the oxygen where the flame is?
