Unread post by jamie »

hi i went onto this forum on my iphone today and it popped up that there is now an app for it. however it took me to this app called Tapatalk forum app which costs $4.19 is this the correct one to buy in order to have this forum as an app instead of browsing and constantly zooming.

Yes - it is a good app for browsing forums on mobile devices - well worth the money.

Hey Jamie, yes it is. Glad it works.

Here's an overview...

Tapatalk is a forum app on the iPhone, Android, webOS, Windows Phone 7 and BlackBerry. Tapatalk Forum App provides super fast on-the-go forum access to majority of the discussion forums that has activated the Tapatalk plugin.

Yes you can browse multiple forums, but like michael said the forum needs to be tapatalk enabled first.

I've installed the app but can't find the forum on the list of available ones within it. I've searched using weather as the keyword and found two NZ forums but not this one. Any idea how to link it up?

I would have thought so, but I get two other NZ weather forums and not this one. I've also searched using New Zealand and NZ. :-k

I must be doing something wrong - that search only gives me one result and it's not this forum. What category does the forum sit in? Maybe I can pick it out of the full list.

Weather forum app???

Unread post by littleheaven »

Okay, that worked. I browsed through the category list until I found the correct section for weather forums, scanned the entire list, and there it was. I'm posting from the app now. Still no idea why it didn't come up in the search results.

It seems pretty 'light' in terms of it's data consumption

It would use less than what it would be if you were browsing the forum normally.
