Amazing rainfall figures from out of Central Australia as the monsoon trough dipped right south to the Tropic of Capricorn. Rivers flowing for once and they become swollen pretty quick.
Alice Springs YTD: 157mm, Annual average: 283mm
Yuendumu YTD: 256.2mm, Annual average: 363mm
Arltunga YTD: 242.2mm, Annual average: 295mm
Kintore YTD: 156.4mm, Annual average: 295mm
The January averages for these places is only between 25 and 40mm! Absolutely insane!
