Geostationary Images
We’ve been experimenting downloading images from geostationary satellites. Here’s an image from the Japanese weather satellite Himawari 8. Yesterday we captured some great images of Hurricane Douglas which are posted on our Blog at Kiwiweather.com

In contrast now, there is so much information out there but whilst it makes it easier, it would be nothing to the sense of exhilaration you must have experienced at the time.
