Christchurch uses 68 units of power in their power savings and Auckland used 67 -Using the Duckworth Lewis System it put Chch on 62 units to compensate the cold down there.

nb. At the time there wouldve been warm NW conditions over both regions too so heating wouldn't be required.

the good old SWer is still lacking here...but we will get one on thursday and friday by the looks of things...
the damp cold is just as bad as a dry cold that is actualy colder, me thiks
once the temperature goes below 12oC and the humidity gets up high, then it becomes a damp cold...
that low that has come off ozy has captured a weak jet stream and lots of surface cloud in the north tasman....interesting...
