M8.1 Kermadec Islands - 05/03/21

Been a series of quakes near Raoul Island, with a M8.1 at 8:28am NZDT according to the USGS (M7.1 according to Geonet).

A tsunami threat has also been issued…

Raoul island gauges have gone offline. Not a good sign

I believe there was a tsunami but no damage occurred. Clips of waves I seen shows nothing too big. Interesting day yesterday
