Interesting. I had the same issue on my Netbook, which is only used seldomly. Didn't bother taking it any further and left the site. Main PC was ok when I got home & was already logged in as usual.

very right there Neil. I just got to work and tried on my work computer and it was logged in as per normal on this computer. So maybe it is my laptop issue?

yep back on my laptop and it doesnt work for jamie.h but it does for this one. any pointers on what i could do to fix it. i know my laptop is on its death bed so that might be a problem.

Odd. There's a chance a bot was trying to access your account Jamie. It has three goes before the CAPTCHA request comes up. I guess it teaches that everyone needs a secure password with a mixture of letters and numbers.

Im just wondering has anyone else had trouble wth the forum running slowly today? Its taking up to 5 minutes to load one page.

phew. Glad to see it's all running ok again. They were working around the clock to transfer the data to a new server apparently. Reminds me, I must do a back up of the database!

All the rain radars have been upgraded to include an IP-Star Satellite backup connection for the Telecom DSL line. Hopefully they won't go offline again in a hurry.ricky wrote:Wow, what caused that big outage of the forum?

I have upgraded to the latest phpBB3 version (3.0.8), please report if you have any hiccups because a few modified files were totally re-written with new code.

most likely it disappeard with the forum upgradeYup no way to stay logged in all the time, no option on login.
Foggy will have to find where that option is and re enable it I suspect
