Just logged on for the first time in ages and notice it was really bad before. Will email them again but will also refresh the database.

Next time the hosting needs to be redone, I would recommend a dedicated server for this forum.

Also since its a dedicated server, it will not have the problem of other sites hogging the resources or one site (on the same server as this) cause this site to go down (which has happened in the past).

It is shaping up to be the biggest ever thread on the forum!! Maybe a move to a new server isn't a bad idea. I know after the last donation drive a lot of people didn't even have a chance to donate.

Man the 500 error is bad at the moment.

I doubt we justify our own server, but a move to better hosting is certainly necessary lately.

Really? I think its a good idea to go to a dedicated server as it will ensure that hosting issues will be much less and it will let the forum expand as it pleases and can handle the extra traffic when the significant weather arrives.

That will make this forum more "weather proof", LOL

Yup a number of times now ive had to sit here refreshing the page, just to get in. Happy to stump up a couple more dollars if need be.

I also would find yellow snow "distasteful".... or was the pun not intended, hard to tell on the internet these days!

Yes not really an improvement, still getting to 500 errors frequently.

Attaching stuff is becoming very difficult as when you start to attach stuff you got the 500 error.
