Nice fine day here after morning cloud cleared away. Good weather this morning to pick raspberries, but my right arm suffered.

Tomorrow might be interesting with some instability inland.

Holding 23C at 8pm, last night cooled fast to 18 at a similar time. Clear sky both cases and similar wind direction.

Little or no east coast sea breeze the last two days making for very warm conditions for eastern locations. I was at Takapuna today and Whangaporoa yesterday, temps late 20s. A lot of debris on the beaches from last weeks storm.

It was actually the warmest day of summer here so far, 28.2C max. Sunny but high cloud has gradually thickened up this afternoon/evening.

Same weather as yesterday in Levin, cloudy all day mostly nimbostratus clouds a few showers and drizzle at times with light winds. Current temp: 19.1C

That'd be right. As I tried to test a washer & Autoclave in a MDU (Mobile Dental Unit) down there without enough power available to run the AC. No wonder I was a puddle.

As a casual and non technical person, I wouldn't have a clue what you are on about but good luck anyway if you can remedy the situation?

Keeping an eye on Saturday for possible storm nearer to Auckland.

NZ's hottest weather in the north again today, Kerikeri currently on 29C and Whangarei 28C, Grey Lynn max was 28C.

Lots of Altocumulus castellanus in the sky this morning. A sign someone will get a decent storm today and it won't be Auckland. Quite dry air here should limit the shower risk next couple of days while some beefy thunderstorms will occur over central and eastern areas of the North Island. I may go for a drive down to Waitomo tomorrow, have to see how it looks then.

NZWP sounding last night showing moisture/instability in the middle atmosphere and very dry air nearer the surface although there is a thin layer of moisture at ground level.

A storm for Taupo later today, evening. Tomorrows storms look quite well south of Auckland again, for a chase you would need to drive to Otorohanga/Te Kuiti.
