WM-918 For Sale
I've just been e-mailed this link if anybody is interested (eyeeye?)
http://weatherstation.netfirms.com/phpB ... .php?t=414
I suspect it's most likely in Australia (FreeWX and its creator, Andy Keir, are both Australian, as is much of the FreeWX userbase).

Yeah, I realise, but putting everything on one page...shudder...just because you can, doesn't mean you should...I pity the poor dial-up user who visits that site...Manukau heads observer wrote:you can never have enough information gary!
Its the age of information.
but
you can create a completly customised web page or image, like my banner....

I think maybe I've encountered too many websites by Frontpage 101ers, plastered with Flash and DHTML, and eyeball scorching to llook at. And of course, they only seem to work in IE, a lot of them. Some have criticized the Observatory website for being way too simplistic, but the fact is it is displayed correctly by every browser out there, including Lynx.Manukau heads observer wrote:i am a dial up user
the site comes in fast enough!
the web table is text, that loads straight away, and the images are gif, small in size, and come in pretty fast
i really do wonder what your problem is Gary, you seem to very negative.
Somebody recently sent me a link to a site which displayed the most beautiful weather graphic I've ever seen. Tasteful, elegant -- a real work of art. But it still took far too long just to find the information that mattered. All I want to see is the data. I don't need to see dials and flashing lights, no matter how pretty. Just gimme those numbers, man!
